Account Information

When you sign up, we receive basic profile information from your OAuth provider (Google, Microsoft, or GitHub):

  • Name (if provided by your OAuth provider)
  • OAuth provider identifier
Donation Data

You provide information about your donations including:

  • Item descriptions and details
  • Photos of donated items
  • Estimated values
  • Donation dates
Usage Data

We track AI analysis usage to manage quotas:

  • Number of AI analyses performed
  • Provider used (Ollama, OpenAI, Claude)
  • Timestamps

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Service: Store and display your donation records
  • AI Analysis: Send photos to AI providers for value estimation
  • Account Management: Manage your login and preferences
  • Family Sharing: Enable sharing with family group members you invite

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

  • With AI Providers: Photos are sent to AI services (Ollama, OpenAI, Claude) for analysis when you request it
  • With Family Members: Users you invite to your family group can view your shared items
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

Data Storage & Security

  • Data is stored on secure servers
  • We use HTTPS encryption for all connections
  • OAuth tokens are stored securely
  • Photos are stored on our servers, not shared publicly

Your Rights

  • Access: View all your stored data through the app
  • Export: Download your data via CSV export
  • Delete: Request account deletion by contacting us
  • Correction: Edit your donation records at any time

API Keys

If you provide your own OpenAI or Claude API keys:

  • Keys are stored securely in our database
  • Keys are only used for AI requests on your behalf
  • You can remove your keys at any time
  • Billing is handled directly between you and the AI provider

Cookies

We use essential cookies for:

  • Session management (keeping you logged in)
  • CSRF protection (security)

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
